About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at CRU Construction Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production and other reports, to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise workers and projects, recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, and that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent accidents and injuries on site.
  • Communication: Read blueprints and drawings, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and employees.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems, including conflicts and issues, in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction-related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, noisy, at heights, and dusty.
  • Work Setting: Construction, commercial, residential, general office, and various locations.
