About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at 1522854 ONTARIO INCORPORATED. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel on site, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, identify and address any issues or defects, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, and take proactive measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other contractors, to ensure that project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth and development, and work with the management team to develop and implement strategies to achieve these goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant post-secondary education or training in construction management or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field, with a proven track record of success in project management, site supervision, and team leadership.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of construction professionals. Proficient in construction management software and technology, with a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
