Job Overview

As a Construction Site Supervisor at Carpet Plus Flooring, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs and necessary materials.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize CADD and other relevant software for project management.
  • Training Oversight: Manage and supervise apprenticeship training programs.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed production and progress reports.
  • Staffing: Recruit, hire, and manage workforce requirements.
  • Activity Coordination: Schedule and coordinate project activities effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other supervisors and project managers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Scheduling: Develop methods to meet project timelines.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Material Requisition: Order necessary materials and supplies for projects.
  • Supervision: Oversee the work of employees and the progress of projects.
Work Environment

The work environment can be challenging, with exposure to dusty, noisy, and outdoor conditions.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
