Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at CRU Construction Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production and other reports, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Supervise workers and projects, recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, and that all necessary safety protocols are in place.
- Communication: Read blueprints and drawings, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and lead/instruct individuals as needed.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, and assist with their immediate settlement needs.
- Support for Youth: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, and offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, and offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities, and offer mentorship programs and diversity training.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work outdoors, in a noisy environment, at heights, and in dusty conditions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
