Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping Coordination: Determine the most cost-effective and efficient method of shipment for our products, taking into account factors such as weight, size, and destination.
  • Transportation Scheduling: Schedule transportation conveyances to ensure timely delivery of goods to our customers.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure accurate and compliant shipping practices.
  • Inventory Management: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal record-keeping systems to track shipments and inventory.
  • Shortage and Damage Reporting: Record and report any shortages or damage to goods received.
  • Packing and Unpacking: Pack goods to be shipped and unpack goods received to ensure accurate and secure handling.
  • Labeling and Tracking: Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments to ensure accurate tracking and delivery.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee the loading and unloading of goods from our warehouse to ensure efficient and safe handling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Word and other relevant software applications.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, organized, reliable, and team player.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour workweek. Free parking is available on site.
