Job Title: Operations - Shipping Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations - Shipping Coordinator to join our team at Salit Steel. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from our warehouse to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the most efficient method of shipment to meet customer needs
  • Schedule the distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production units to ensure seamless operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database software
