At Salit Steel, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for coordinating the shipment of goods, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

  • Determine the most efficient method of shipment to meet customer needs
  • Schedule the distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments
  • Organize and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in shipping and logistics

  • 2 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database software
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods
