Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team at Salit Steel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Method of Shipment: Research and select the most efficient and cost-effective shipping method for our products.
  • Schedule Distribution of Goods: Coordinate with our warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Inspect and Verify Incoming Goods: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain Internal Record-Keeping System: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, inventory, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Database Software: Proficient in using database software to manage and track shipments and inventory.
  • MS Excel: Proficient in using MS Excel to analyze and track data.
  • MS Outlook: Proficient in using MS Outlook to communicate with team members and customers.
  • MS Word: Proficient in using MS Word to create and edit documents.
  • MS Windows: Proficient in using MS Windows to navigate and manage computer systems.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software: Proficient in using ERP software to manage and track inventory and shipments.
