We are looking for dedicated and skilled culinary professionals to join our team at GRG Ventures Ltd. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your culinary skills while working in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview:

As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, preparing, and executing high-quality food production for our menu offerings.
  • Collaborating with fellow chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional meals during service hours.
  • Maintaining precise food inventories and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
  • Implementing stock rotation procedures to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Restocking kitchen supplies for upcoming shifts.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food prep areas at the end of each shift.
  • Adhering to safe food handling practices and plating specifications.
  • Maintaining an organized and sanitary work environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • FOODSAFE certification or equivalent (to be obtained within two weeks of hire).
  • Experience in an apprenticeship program is a plus, or hold a Red Seal certification.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar culinary setting.
  • A genuine passion for food and a desire to expand your knowledge of various cooking techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting production deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English communication.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive wage ranging from $20 to $22 per hour, along with extended health and dental benefits after six months of employment.
