Healthcare Provider Relations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Provider Relations Specialist to join our team at Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date provider information, ensuring seamless claims adjudication and payment.
Key Responsibilities- Provider Data Management: Validate and verify provider agreements, ensuring all necessary information is accurately entered into our system.
- Network Maintenance: Ensure that all pharmacy, medical supplies & equipment, mental health care, vision care, and dental providers' information is current and complete.
- Provider Communication: Handle inquiries from providers, associations, and software vendors in a professional and supportive manner.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with teammates to achieve team deliverables and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Education: Post-secondary school diploma required.
- Language Skills: Bilingualism (French & English) is an asset.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of healthcare/pharmacy, medical supplies & equipment, or dental benefit administration and claims processing is an advantage.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service focus, with a deep understanding of the Express Way Values.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Adobe Reader and Writer.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Quality Assurance: A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and mediate difficult situations.
- Results-Oriented: Results-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and paying attention to detail.
