Role Overview: The Provider Relations Specialist is responsible for accurately registering healthcare providers and maintaining an up-to-date database to facilitate effective communication and ensure smooth claims processing.
The successful candidate will be tasked with reviewing agreements from various healthcare providers, including pharmacy, medical supplies, mental health, vision care, and dental services, ensuring that all relevant information is correctly recorded in the Cigna system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely entry of all required agreement information for pharmacy, medical supplies, and dental providers into the Cigna system.
- Update modifications and terminations for providers promptly.
- Address inquiries from providers, associations, and software vendors in a professional and supportive manner.
- Bilingual proficiency (French & English) is considered an asset.
- Possess knowledge of healthcare, pharmacy, medical supplies, or dental benefit administration and claims processing.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe tools.
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
- Understand quality assurance principles and service excellence delivery.
- Showcase excellent organizational skills and effective time management.
