Healthcare Provider Liaison Specialist

The Cigna Group is seeking a skilled Healthcare Provider Liaison Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on healthcare providers, ensuring seamless claims adjudication and payment.
Key Responsibilities- Validate Provider Agreements: Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of provider agreements, returning them to providers for further review and modifications as needed.
- Enter Provider Information: Ensure that all pharmacy, medical supplies & equipment, and dental providers' required agreement information is entered into our system in a timely manner.
- Update Provider Information: Ensure that all pharmacy, medical supplies & equipment, mental health care, vision care, and dental providers' modifications and terminations are updated in a timely manner.
- Handle Inquiries: Respond to provider, association, and software vendor inquiries in a supportive and professional manner.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with teammates and assist in other team deliverables as required.
- Post-Secondary Education: A post-secondary school diploma is required.
- Bilingualism: Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of Healthcare Administration: Knowledge of healthcare/pharmacy, medical supplies & equipment, or dental benefit administration and claims processing is an advantage.
- Customer Service Focus: A strong customer service focus, understanding of the Express Way Values, is required.
- Computer Literacy: Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Adobe Reader and Writer are necessary.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a team player willing to take direction.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to new situations and adaptability to change are essential.
- Quality Assurance: A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence is required.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to shift priorities working within established timelines.
- Initiative and Self-Motivation: Demonstrates initiative, learns processes and procedures, various benefits, and displays self-motivation to grasp new concepts quickly.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and mediate difficult situations.
