Key Responsibilities:

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Delivering comprehensive contract interpretation support for a variety of Dematic projects, often managing multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Responding promptly and accurately to business inquiries regarding complex contracts, escalating issues to the legal team when necessary.
  • Conducting analyses to identify critical terms, comparing them to standard agreements, and advising the business on strategic approaches as needed.
  • Creating and maintaining templates and standard operating procedures for contracting processes, while tracking relevant metrics.
  • Facilitating the continuous enhancement of standard form agreements and processes that impact both the legal and project management teams.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or substantial experience in contract management and/or project management roles.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in contract management, particularly in project management contexts, including the preparation and review of proposals, bid documents, contracts, and change orders.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve moderately complex issues, applying effective problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, with the capability to convey contractual terms to a non-expert audience, focusing on real-world risks and obligations.
  • Expertise in collaborating with project management teams as a subject matter expert.
  • Ability to manage tasks for multiple ongoing projects independently, maintaining productivity without constant supervision.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the basic project life cycle and the ability to apply knowledge of fundamental concepts and practices to commercial contracts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities preferred.
