Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Winifred's English Pub. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes.
  • Ensure high-quality food presentation and presentation standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events and menus.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
