About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Management Associate Manager to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing assigned subcontracts and leading the associated Subcontract Management Teams (SMTs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage program performance of all assigned subcontractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement program controls and metrics for all assigned subcontracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Perform and support subcontract risk mitigation efforts, identifying and addressing potential risks to ensure program success.
  • Ensure subcontractors meet/exceed Industrial and Technology Benefits (ITB) and Canadian Value Proposition (CVP) goals, promoting innovation and economic growth.
  • Manage Cost Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for subcontracts/materials reporting, providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Implement a supply chain strategy that meets/exceeds program/customer expectations, ensuring efficient and effective procurement processes.
  • Implement risk mitigation tools to reduce/eliminate program risks for core/critical suppliers/subcontractors, protecting the company's interests.
  • Develop an organization concept for the execution phase of the program, ensuring effective team structure and resource allocation.
  • Perform other assignments as directed in support of the business, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
What You Bring to the Role

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in program management, contract administration, and leadership. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Engineering, Science or Business degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience/education combination.
  • 10+ years equivalent experience in engineering, project management, contract/subcontract administration or pertinent experience on complex military programs.
  • Proven strong contracting skills, with experience in negotiating and managing contracts.
  • Proven negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Solid interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex information.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong program management skills, with experience in managing complex programs and projects.

In addition to the skills and qualifications listed above, we are seeking candidates with experience in:

  • Engineering experience in development projects, with a focus on complex systems and technologies.
  • Program/Project Management experience, with a focus on managing multiple projects and teams.
  • Contract and subcontract management experience, with a focus on negotiating and managing contracts.
  • Participation in leadership development activities, with a focus on building and maintaining effective leadership skills.
  • Experience in related fields such as aerospace, with a focus on complex systems and technologies.
