The Role

Marco Group Limited is seeking a Lead Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial projects. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, the successful candidate will collaborate with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and Project Coordinators to manage construction activities effectively. The individual will be responsible for the overall project performance, including costs, schedules, quality, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Developing, scheduling, budgeting, and managing activities throughout the construction phase in collaboration with the project team.
  2. Ensuring projects are executed according to design specifications, budget constraints, resource availability, quality standards, and timelines.
  3. Administering and overseeing prime contracts and subcontracts, including negotiating and awarding subcontracts and evaluating subcontractor performance.
  4. Managing project budgets and timelines while submitting monthly progress billings.
  5. Maintaining positive relationships and effective communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
  6. Overseeing project closeout and commissioning processes.
Qualifications
  1. A degree in Engineering, CET certification, or equivalent qualifications.
  2. Proven leadership, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  3. 5–10 years of progressive experience in construction.
  4. Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  5. Strong relationship-building abilities.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, project management, and scheduling software.
  7. A robust work ethic, a strong commitment to fulfilling responsibilities, and a high level of enthusiasm.
