Senior Project Manager - Construction (Buildings)

About the Role:

Twin Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our construction projects in the buildings sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from inception to completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.
  2. Safety Leadership: Ensure the implementation and monitoring of safety programs to maintain a safe working environment for project teams and subcontractors.
  3. Contract Administration: Manage prime contracts and subcontracts, including negotiation and awarding of subcontracts.
  4. Financial Management: Review and analyze costs, identify revenue opportunities, and provide monthly and quarterly financial reports to senior management.
  5. Client Relations: Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Completed education in a construction-related discipline.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in general contracting, direct project management, or project coordination of industrial projects.
  3. Skills: Demonstrated competence in safety, workforce management, project execution, cost control, quality, and administration. Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project, and experience with Viewpoint Project Management system is an asset.
  4. Language: Bilingual skills are an asset.

Nice to Have:

  1. Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project.
  2. Bilingual: Bilingual skills are an asset.
