Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our Cardiac Care Program, you will be responsible for coordinating efficient patient flow activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Triage coordinators and PFN/Charges of the cardiac program to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Oversee daily staffing and ensure quality of patient care delivery.
  • Implement evidence-based practices that are sensitive to limited resources within a patient-centred care philosophy.
  • Collaborate with the manager regarding human resource responsibilities, including recruitment and performance evaluation.
  • Liaise with members of the inter-professional team to ensure excellence in patient care.
Qualifications
  • RN Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Science (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2-5 years recent and relevant cardiac care experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in clinical practice in the Cardiac Program.
  • Ability to communicate and work with all members of the inter-professional team.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to implement strategies that effectively facilitate change.
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal, and problem assessment skills.
