Position Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated CEA/Education Assistants to join our dynamic team. This role can be tailored to part-time or full-time based on certification and the specific needs of our students. The primary objective of this position is to assist assigned students in collaboration with classroom educators, ensuring they receive the necessary support for their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address the social, spiritual, and academic needs of students, fostering holistic development.
- Engage with students on an individual basis or in small groups to enhance learning experiences.
- Work closely with teaching staff to facilitate personalized learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Establish strong relationships with families, educators, and fellow EAs.
- Maintain open lines of communication with students, families, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Assist the Special Education Department and teaching staff in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Participate in school field trips to enrich student experiences.
- Uphold safety standards in accordance with school policies.
