The Corporate Security Manager will play a pivotal role within the Corporate Investigations team, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Security Services. This position entails conducting thorough investigations, addressing complex risk incidents, and providing strategic investigative and risk guidance to colleagues and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diverse investigations for various business units within Rogers, focusing on high-stakes and sensitive matters such as employee and vendor fraud, breaches of conduct, threats, and workplace harassment cases.
  • Act as the primary liaison with Law Enforcement Agencies for civil and criminal cases.
  • Evaluate and investigate reports received through the internal 'whistle-blower' hotline.
  • Offer tactical advice and operational support to management in response to security incidents.
  • Be available for rotational on-call duties, responding to allegations and incidents outside regular business hours.
  • Maintain a robust network of internal and external relationships to facilitate effective information exchange.
  • Prepare and present clear reports that convey investigative findings in an impartial and professional manner.
  • Conduct investigations with the utmost discretion, ensuring confidentiality throughout the process.
  • Identify policy and procedural deficiencies and prepare management reports with recommendations to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.
  • Assist in generating monthly and quarterly reports for senior management within Corporate Investigations.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of investigative experience in public or private sectors, with a focus on fraud, theft, privacy, risk assessments, and customer-related scams.
  • A well-established network of contacts in private and public sector investigations, including law enforcement and legal professionals.
  • Strong understanding of privacy laws, including PIPEDA, the Criminal Code of Canada, the Canadian judicial system, and evidentiary rules.
  • Proven ability to conduct effective interviews with victims, witnesses, and suspects.
  • Excellent relationship management skills to collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives while addressing unforeseen issues.
  • Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable of learning Rogers' internal systems for investigations.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is essential; bilingualism in French is an asset.
