The Corporate Security Investigations Manager is a pivotal position within our organization, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Security Services. In this role, you will lead investigations, manage high-stakes situations, and provide essential guidance to both colleagues and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive investigations across various business units, addressing issues such as fraud, policy breaches, threats, and workplace harassment.
- Serving as the primary liaison for Law Enforcement Agencies in both civil and criminal matters.
- Evaluating and investigating claims submitted through internal reporting mechanisms.
- Offering strategic advice to management regarding security-related incidents.
- Being available for on-call responses to incidents outside of standard working hours.
- Cultivating and sustaining relationships for effective information sharing.
- Producing clear and professional reports detailing investigative outcomes.
- Identifying procedural and policy deficiencies and proposing enhancements.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of investigative experience in either public or private sectors.
- A robust network of investigative contacts and relationships.
- Familiarity with privacy legislation and the criminal justice framework.
- Proficient in conducting effective interviews.
- Excellent project management and time management capabilities.
- Competence in office software applications.
- Certification as a Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
