In this pivotal role, reporting to the Manager of Physical Security, the Corporate Security Analyst is responsible for upholding the standards and processes of the CTC Security Group within the Home Office and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). Viewing security as a facilitator of business operations, the Analyst oversees daily functions, administrative responsibilities, performance evaluations, and the implementation of CTC risk management protocols across Canada. This position requires frequent collaboration with various levels of Corporate and Business Groups, including Business Continuity Management, IT, Governance, and external security providers, as well as interactions with senior leadership and government representatives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of outsourced security professionals in a 24/7 security operations center. Promote best practices in alarm management across Retail, Supply Chain, and Corporate Campuses. Facilitate effective communication internally and externally to support departmental objectives. Manage Access Control and Visitor Management systems. Prepare various reports, including incident documentation, risk assessments, and data management summaries. Contribute to the development and review of CTC policies and operational directives. Monitor vendor performance, including invoice accuracy and security personnel effectiveness. Support the Physical Security Governance team in ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Coordinate security service requests from various departments. Ensure the integrity of databases related to event management, incidents, and case management. Conduct regular assessments of security systems to ensure optimal functionality. Assist in programming access control devices and managing employee access profiles. Develop threat risk assessments for executives, local events, and potential escalations.Qualifications
A university degree or college diploma in law enforcement, security management, risk management, business administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable organization, particularly in physical security operations. Professional certification in security management (e.g., ASIS Certified Protection Professional [CPP], ASIS Physical Security Practitioner [PSP], or similar) is advantageous. Proven experience in security operations, alarm management, and personnel deployment in a dynamic environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior personnel. A strong commitment to ethics, diversity, equity, and workplace respect. High proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Access. Familiarity with security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Monitoring, and related technologies. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.#LI-SH1
