The salary range for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in this position is between $45,000 and $60,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Management (70% of Time):

  • Oversee and collect Accounts Receivable to reduce overdue customer accounts, which includes reaching out to clients via phone or email to request payments.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate credit policies and procedures for consistent management of collection activities to maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or inquiries.
  • Generate and post manual invoices.
  • Conduct account reconciliations, including cash accounts.
  • Submit customer invoices through third-party portals.
  • Distribute invoices, statements, and payment reminders to clients.

Accounting Projects (30% of Time):

  • Perform daily cheque deposits.
  • Submit customer invoices via third-party portals.
  • Record customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Send invoices, statements, and payment reminders to clients.
  • Assist with other accounting and finance projects as assigned by your supervisor.

Experience Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Must demonstrate punctuality, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Experience in the heavy truck industry is a valuable asset.

Educational Qualifications:

  • CCP Designation or progress towards it is considered advantageous.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Completion of a one-year accounting certificate.
