Division Chief - Division of Cardiology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Chief to lead our Division of Cardiology at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and quality of care provided by our medical staff, as well as operational resource oversight in collaboration with your administrative dyad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical staff leadership and operational resource oversight
  • Division's academic activity and clinical program development
  • Quality assurance and patient care
  • Collaboration with administrative dyad and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • MD degree and certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in pediatric cardiology or equivalent
  • Eligibility for a full-time academic appointment in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa
  • Strong operational and academic leadership skills
  • Proven record of achievement in comprehensive patient care, clinical program development, education, research, and/or quality assurance
