Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Chief to lead our Cardiology Department at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safety and quality of care provided by the medical staff within the Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical staff leadership and operational resource oversight in collaboration with the administrative dyad.
  • Oversee the Division's academic activity and ensure alignment with the hospital's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Cardiovascular Leadership Team to drive quality and safety initiatives.
  • Maintain a clinical and academic role within the Division.
Requirements
  • MD degree and certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in pediatric cardiology or equivalent.
  • Eligibility for a full-time academic appointment in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa.
  • Strong operational and academic leadership skills, with a proven record of achievement in comprehensive patient care, clinical program development, education, research, and/or quality assurance.
  • Functionality in French is an asset.
