Position Title: 1st Cook Department: Culinary Team
EightSix Network is seeking a dedicated culinary professional to join our vibrant kitchen team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong passion for culinary arts and are eager to enhance their skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and present food items for your designated station while ensuring production levels meet guest expectations in the absence of the Chef de Partie.
- Uphold health and safety standards in all food preparation and service areas.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal team members and external guests.
- Collaborate with the team to meet operational standards and expectations.
- Execute assigned tasks as necessary to support kitchen operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience in a large-scale kitchen or similar culinary setting.
- Proficiency in Garde Manger, Hot Kitchen, and Line Cooking techniques.
- Capability to mentor and train junior cooks.
- Red Seal certification is required or must be obtained within one year of employment.
- Compliance with all health and safety regulations and policies is mandatory for all staff.
