About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at NEWTON SWEETSHOP & RESTAURANT LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our discerning customers.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service: Foster strong relationships with customers by ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
