We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Manager to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental quality in our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective HSEQ management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of their HSEQ responsibilities and are equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Investigate all incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HSEQ matters and ensure that all employees are aware of their HSEQ responsibilities.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure that the company is prepared to respond to any emergency situation.
- Conduct regular reviews of the HSEQ management system to ensure that it remains effective and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, safety management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a HSEQ role, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ regulations and standards, including ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
