HSEQ Operations Specialist Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Operations Specialist Lead to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic organization and contribute to the success of our projects.
About the Role
- This position plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSE) standards are maintained across our projects.
- You will be responsible for providing leadership on HSE requirements, monitoring project-level compliance, and reporting on progress.
- Your expertise will help us maintain a safe working environment and ensure that our operations meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility among team members.
- Serve as an HSE subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to project/site operational leaders.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance knowledge and skills among staff.
- Analyze incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project-specific HSE plans, including job hazard analyses and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and implementation of HSE initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, near-misses, and other relevant data.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the growth and development of our organization.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in infrastructure or maintenance industry HSE roles.
- 1+ year of experience in construction or general industry HSE leadership.
- Possess an Associate degree/college diploma or be working towards a Bachelor's degree in a safety-related area of study.
- Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Benefits and Compensation
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
