About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our client-facing team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention - Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and retain existing ones, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Business Development - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with our sales team to develop and execute sales plans.
  • Relationship Building - Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Business Acumen - Strong understanding of financial services and products, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Results-Oriented - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
  • Team Player - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
