About the Role
The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Client Relationship Associate to join our team. As a Client Relationship Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our high-value clients, building strong relationships with Investment Advisors, and delivering business and relationship management support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional specialized business services, advisory, and process/program support to Investment Advisors.
- Assist in building integrated and customized solutions based on clients' unique needs.
- Build relationships with existing clients, Investment Advisor Bank branches, and other Bank referral sources.
- Demonstrate financial planning expertise to support Investment Advisors and produce high-quality plans that exceed client expectations.
- Participate in client meetings and the wealth planning process, organizing client seminars and events.
- Match clients to their products and services in a professional, consistent, and expedient manner.
- Maintain a culture of risk management, adhering to internal policies and procedures, and protecting the interests of the Bank by monitoring and raising transaction activity as required.
- Monitor service quality and productivity, implementing continuous improvement.
- Keep current on emerging trends and keep others informed and up-to-date on work status and progress.
- Participate fully as a team member, supporting a positive professional team environment.
Requirements
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook.
- Requirement of the role that you become licensed with Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) as a Registered Representative (RR).
- Desirable: Undergraduate Degree or Community College Diploma.
- Desirable: Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work confidentially, independently, as well as in a team.
