Job Overview

Reporting to the coordination of financial services, the primary responsibility of this role is to strategize the implementation methods and enhance accounting procedures within the Administrative Services Department (DSA).

  • Streamline the roles and responsibilities of finance team members;
  • Establish the RACI framework within the DSA;
  • Integrate and optimize DSA operations;
  • Develop and automate a paperless process for accounts payable management;
  • Maximize the utilization of integrated management software (Clara - all modules) by innovating and applying new operational methods within the DSA to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of current resources;
  • Oversee accounts payable agents to ensure adherence to the new operational methods;
  • Formulate a robust process for effective management of accounts payable (timely payments, etc.) and accounts receivable (credit assessments, collection procedures, etc.) for the institution;
  • Design training programs for various Clara finance users;
  • Establish, train, and support a network of super users for Clara finance representing each department, aimed at enhancing user proficiency;
  • Develop a comprehensive reference guide for Clara finance users;
  • Analyze and document DSA processes;
  • Redefine and standardize the roles and responsibilities of all Clara finance users;
  • Participate in managing parking modifications (post-project evaluation);
  • Enhance various administrative processes related to different services (allocation of residence spaces, billing and refund processes, payment methods, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration;
  • Member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Quebec (CPA);
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, teamwork, and independence;
  • Strong commitment to continuous process enhancement;
  • Proficient in computer applications and the Office suite, particularly Word and Excel at an intermediate level;
  • Good command of spoken and written French;
  • Solid understanding of the business landscape and socio-economic partners;

Salary Range: between $47,886 and $79,426 per year
