Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to enhance our Digital Technology team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions that connect various systems and applications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic startup environment and possess a strong problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integration strategies that connect diverse systems, ensuring scalability and security in alignment with business objectives.
- Assess system requirements and data flows to identify integration opportunities and challenges, collaborating with stakeholders to gather essential requirements.
- Utilize various technologies and tools, including API management platforms and data integration solutions, to execute integration projects effectively.
- Provide ongoing support for integration solutions, addressing performance issues and ensuring data integrity.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all integration processes, including design specifications and user manuals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure integration solutions meet both technical and business standards.
- Establish best practices for integration development, staying informed on industry trends to enhance integration methodologies.
- Lead integration projects, managing timelines and resources to ensure successful completion.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Integration Engineer role, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Expertise in integration tools and frameworks such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar technologies.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Java or Python, along with experience in automation scripting.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as cloud data warehousing solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and presenting complex information clearly.
- Project management experience with a focus on delivering integration projects on schedule.
- Preferred: Boomi Developer or Architect Certification.
Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is CA$ 73,000 - CA$ 119,000, with potential equity and benefits based on the role.
