Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Mafna Air Technologies Inc. as a key member of our Design and Engineering department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings. This includes reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents, as well as selecting mechanical and hydronic components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Select and specify mechanical and hydronic components for HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop HVAC systems that meet customer needs and company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering, with a focus on commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC fundamentals, including system design, component selection, and installation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable transportation.
