Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Application Mechanical Engineer Technologist to join our growing team in the design and engineering of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents, as well as having a strong background in controls and HVAC fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including agents, consulting engineers, contractors, and facility owners, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, installation manuals, and maintenance guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC design, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong background in controls, HVAC fundamentals, and mechanical systems design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software, with intermediate to advanced level skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.
