Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Application Mechanical Engineer Technologist to join our growing team in the design and engineering of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents, as well as possessing a strong background in controls and HVAC fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings, considering factors such as energy efficiency and system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including agents, consulting engineers, contractors, and facility owners, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and technical reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in HVAC technology, applying this knowledge to improve system design and performance.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering, with a strong background in controls and HVAC fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software, with the ability to create detailed designs and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to job sites, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
