Intermediate Project Manager (Level 2 - 5 to 10 years of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive execution of designated projects in partnership with various stakeholders, including superintendents, assistants, project directors, clients, professionals, and subcontractors.
  • Formulate and execute project strategies while considering limitations related to resources, budget, timelines, safety, industry regulations, and standards, making adjustments as required.
  • Continuously track project advancement and communicate updates to pertinent parties.
  • Ensure meticulous oversight of project profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Estimate and negotiate agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Actively engage in site meetings.
  • Authorize invoices from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely follow-up on client payments.
  • Prepare financial requests for the general contractor and conduct necessary follow-ups.
  • Develop P3S schedules and overall project timelines.
  • Present and negotiate modifications to contracts.
  • Supervise shop drawings and quality assurance reports.
  • Evaluate, investigate, respond to, and/or prepare claims that may arise during project execution.
  • Participate in the bidding process and manage other administrative responsibilities.
  • Establish and nurture trustworthy relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Implement quality monitoring and control measures.
  • Take the lead in resolving issues, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, professional technical training in a construction-related discipline, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in building construction.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing construction projects.
  • Proficient in interpreting architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical plans and specifications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Experience in personnel management and supervision.
  • Solid business acumen.
