Job Summary
The Revenue Manager is a key member of the Commercial Strategy team at Accor, responsible for supporting the Director of Revenue Management in driving revenue growth and improving data quality. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the accuracy of information and data, and create automation efforts in reporting tools to enhance efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of competitive analysis and supporting documents for revenue meetings and corporate reporting.
- Generate and update Revenue Management reports, serving as the primary link for reporting and analytical needs of the Revenue Management team.
- Support the monthly forecasting process, annual budget, and marketing plan documents, as well as long-term projections.
- Manage availability, rates, and inventory in all channels, and communicate strategies and restrictions to operations teams.
- Maintain rate parity across all channels, collaborating with the sales team on follow-up processes for repeat offenders.
- Assist with system maintenance, including rate loading, restrictions management, and running daily system checks.
- Aid in content management in electronic channels, liaising with the hotel Marketing team to ensure regular updates of images and descriptions.
- Maintain close relationships with the Global Revenue Center to ensure the call center is up-to-date on hotel information.
- Manage relationships with the Distribution System Support team, technical tickets, and loading request follow-ups.
- Support special projects within Revenue Management and Distribution, focused on uncovering new revenue opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous reservation experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with Ideas RMS, Opera PMS, Passkey, Delphi, or Opera Sales and Catering is preferred.
Physical Demands
- This position requires the ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous. Occasional standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lbs.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics is preferred.
- Hospitality industry experience is preferred.
