Position Summary

The Director of Sales will report directly to the Vice-President of International Sales and will be instrumental in driving sales growth while nurturing existing client relationships within the designated region. This role is pivotal in ensuring the productivity of the sales team through effective management of support functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Facilitate the fair distribution of sales quotas across all channels, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Identify and implement improvements in sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely assignment of sales objectives and monitor the accuracy of sales reports and CRM data.
  • Coordinate training for sales personnel to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and manage sales incentive compensation programs.
  • Support the implementation of company initiatives and foster strong relationships with key management personnel.

Performance Metrics

  • Achievement of sales and profit targets.
  • Timely implementation of sales quotas and performance objectives.
  • Effective allocation of resources impacting the sales organization.
  • Accurate reporting for sales effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in English; bilingualism in French is an asset.
  • A degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales or sales management within the HVAC or Building Automation sector.
  • Experience in sales operations or business planning roles.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Travel Requirements

This role necessitates travel commitments of approximately 50-60%.
