Physiotherapist - Chronic Pain Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing physiotherapy services to patients with chronic pain in a Primary Health Care setting.
The Physiotherapist will utilize behavior change methods, case management, and client-centered approaches to provide individualized care to patients. The incumbent will work collaboratively with Primary Health Care staff, family physicians, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement exercise programs and provide education and support to patients.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists, and eligibility for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. The candidate will also have at least one year of experience working with people in chronic pain in a Primary Health Care setting, as well as experience with individual and group education and facilitation using adult education principles.
The successful candidate will be required to travel to various community locations throughout the zone and will be expected to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.

- 75 hours bi-weekly
- Shifts include days, nights, and weekends
$33.96 - $42.89 Hourly
