Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Specialist to join our team at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). As a Business Process Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing business processes related to Market Rules and Business Processes Development. Your expertise will help us ensure the effective implementation of our business processes and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current business processes and develop new ones to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the Market Rules team to ensure business processes are aligned with organizational goals
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work with IT representatives to ensure business needs are met and technical details are aligned
  • Participate in project teams to develop and implement business process improvements
  • Contribute to the development of business process models and specifications
  • Review and analyze business process deliverables to ensure quality and alignment

Requirements:

  • 4 years of university education in an appropriate discipline or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of business analysis theory, principles, and practices, including IIBA best practices
  • Knowledge of business and IT business methods, procedures, and organization structures
  • Proven experience in business process analysis and development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
