Landscape Construction Operations Supervisor

We are a prominent organization in the commercial landscape construction and maintenance sector, currently in search of a dedicated and driven landscape professional to enhance our management team.

The Landscape Construction Operations Supervisor is tasked with strategizing, coordinating, and overseeing the daily functions of our expanding construction division to effectively deliver the exceptional landscapes our clients anticipate.

This role involves directly supervising and guiding multiple foremen and crews to ensure that productivity, efficiency, and quality benchmarks are met and consistently improved.

Resource management is a key responsibility, encompassing materials, inventory, equipment, labor, and training.

Collaboration with estimators and the supporting management team is essential for the planning and execution of secured construction contracts, as well as for the overall construction season schedule to meet budgetary goals.


Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial landscape construction in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Proficiency in the operation, installation, and repair of commercial irrigation systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of reading and executing landscape architectural and civil earthworks drawings and plans.
  • Ability to interpret grades as they relate to earthworks, utilizing both physical survey stakes and topographical drawings.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Experience with heavy equipment operation.
  • A degree, diploma, or trade certificate from a college or horticulture school is considered an asset.
