Painters and Decorators Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painters and Decorators Supervisor to join our team at Kattana Renovation Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting and decorating operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and lead a team of painters and decorators to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Project Management
- Coordinate and schedule painting and decorating projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and manage budgets to ensure profitability.
- Quality Control
- Inspect and monitor work in progress to ensure it meets our high standards of quality and safety.
- Identify and address any quality control issues promptly, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure a safe working environment for all team members, and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls.
- Recruitment and Training
- Recruit and hire skilled painters and decorators to join our team, and provide training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Experience in painting and decorating, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Knowledge of painting and decorating techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to estimate costs and manage budgets.
