About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painters and Decorators Foreman/Woman to join our team at MAGIC SHADE PAINTERS INC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit production reports to management
    • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and train a team of painters and decorators to ensure high-quality work
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Project Management
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of painting and decorating projects
    • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines
    • Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Recruitment and Staffing
    • Recruit and hire skilled painters and decorators to join the team
    • Coordinate staffing activities to ensure adequate coverage
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in painting and decorating
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
