Role Overview

The BIM Project Coordinator Intern plays a crucial role in organizing various project components while providing essential technical support to production teams. This position ensures adherence to the firm's best practices in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and integrates management strategies based on project complexity and personal expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with modelers while managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Participate in the development of the BIM management plan.
  • Attend both interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary BIM meetings.
  • Assess the quality and visual representation of models.
  • Support the project team and modelers effectively.
  • Assist in managing the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) collaborative platform and other tools.
  • Keep the BIM Manager updated on project progress to facilitate informed decision-making regarding tools and methodologies.
  • Help uphold high standards of quality in BIM practices.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A college diploma in architectural technology, a university degree in architecture, or a relevant combination of training and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of BIM with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • A curious and innovative mindset focused on solutions.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
