At Lemay, we are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to join our team. As a key member of our BIM management team, you will be responsible for applying the company's vision for BIM to our projects.

The successful candidate will help define BIM processes and standards in a transdisciplinary context and supervise the use of relevant tools. Key responsibilities include launching projects, drawing up BIM management plans with project managers and the regional BIM manager, advising project managers on the use of BIM, and assisting BIM coordinators for projects in various markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and start projects;
  • Write the project's BIM management plan (BMP);
  • Attend or co-facilitate inter- and intra-disciplinary BIM start-up meetings;
  • Set up models;
  • Georeference Revit project models;
  • Implement work processes and tools required for a project to run smoothly, in line with the vision and strategy defined by the BIM Director;
  • Set up and manage the ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) and/or other collaborative platforms;
  • Provide support to the BIM coordinator responsible for projects;
  • Act as BIM coordinator when required.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in architectural technology, university degree in architecture, or any other combination of relevant training and experience;
  • At least 7 years' experience in architectural projects;
  • At least 5 years' experience in BIM management on large-scale projects with complex breakdown and scheduling requirements;
  • Excellent knowledge of BIM processes and tools, and their impacts;
  • BIM certification (an asset);
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English;
  • Knowledge of applicable software (Revit, Autodesk, Office suite) and other BIM software;
  • Knowledge of the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform.
