BIM Project Manager

The BIM Management Lead at Lemay is responsible for applying the company's vision for BIM to its projects. This role involves defining BIM processes and standards in a transdisciplinary context and supervising the use of relevant tools.

The incumbent will work closely with project managers and the regional BIM manager to launch projects and draw up BIM management plans. They will also advise project managers on the use of BIM and assist the team of BIM coordinators for projects in various markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and start projects;
  • Write the project's BIM management plan;
  • Attend or co-facilitate inter- and intra-disciplinary BIM start-up meetings;
  • Set up models;
  • Georeference Revit project models;
  • Implement the work processes and tools required for a project to run smoothly;
  • Set up and manage the ACC and/or other collaborative platforms;
  • Provide support to the BIM coordinator responsible for projects;
  • Act as BIM coordinator when required.

Participation with the Company:

  • Participate in the development of the firm's objectives and strategies;
  • Participate in the development of standards and work processes;
  • Train BIM coordinators and oversee the development of their skills.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in architectural technology or university degree in architecture;
  • At least 7 years' experience in architectural projects;
  • At least 5 years' experience in BIM management on large-scale projects;
  • Excellent knowledge of BIM processes and tools;
  • BIM certification (an asset);
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English;
  • Knowledge of applicable software and other BIM software;
  • Knowledge of the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform.
