We are seeking a senior BIM/VDC coordinator to join our Innovation team at Pomerleau Construction.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting project teams to thrive with state-of-the-art BIM/VDC tools and methods.

Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects, you will explore and support project growth and execution through BIM and VDC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project and BIM teams to implement and use BIM/VDC processes.
  • Develop protocols for key elements, including communication, data exchange, and 3D workspace.
  • Work with designers and trades to create BIM content, organize it on our shared platform, and provide multidisciplinary support coordination.
  • Craft project-specific contract language for tender packages for the BIM submission process.
  • Mentor others in using Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
  • Design 4D simulations for virtual and augmented reality experiences.
  • Pilot drones to support site logistics and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of BIM experience in the construction or architectural industry.
  • University degree or diploma in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, or MEP technology, or a combination of education and construction industry experience.
  • Experience working with BIM software, including REVIT, NavisWorks, BIM 360, and MS Project.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
