BIM/VDC Senior Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM/VDC Senior Coordinator to join our Innovation team at Pomerleau Construction. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enabling project teams to thrive with state-of-the-art BIM/VDC tools and methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Project and BIM teams to support the implementation and usage of BIM/VDC processes.
  • Develop and maintain protocols for key elements, including communication, data exchange, and 3D workspace.
  • Work alongside designers and trades to create and manage BIM content, organize it on our shared platform, and provide multidisciplinary support coordination.
  • Craft project-specific contract language for tender packages and the BIM submission process.
  • Teach and mentor others on the use of Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
  • Design 4D simulations for Virtual and Augmented Reality experiences.
  • Pilot drones to support site logistics and quality assurance, integrating point-cloud data from laser scans or mobile technology.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of BIM experience in the construction or architectural industry.
  • University degree or technology diploma in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, or MEP technology, or a combination of education and construction industry experience.
  • Experience working with BIM software, including REVIT, NavisWorks, BIM 360, and MS Project.
  • Fluency in both official languages, written and oral (English and French).
