Job Overview

Position: We are seeking a Lead Technician for Garage Door Solutions to take charge of service and installation operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the functionality and safety of overhead and pedestrian doors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date safety training and certifications, promptly addressing any renewal requirements
  • Cultivate and sustain customer relationships with an emphasis on exceptional service
  • Accurately complete necessary documentation on a daily basis
  • Uphold punctuality and consistent attendance
  • Evaluate job specifications at the commencement of each task and report any concerns
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for service needs
  • Travel as required for service and installation assignments
  • Provide precise estimates for service inquiries
  • Collaborate with scheduling personnel to resolve issues
  • Execute welding tasks as needed
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of various commercial and residential door systems

Required Qualifications

  • CDI Certification Levels 1 and 2
  • Professional attitude with an emphasis on quality and safety
  • Proven experience in servicing and installing overhead doors
  • Valid Driver's Abstract
  • Background in related trades or construction is preferred
  • Fire Door Certification
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings
  • Additional safety certifications are a plus
